Child Safety & Wellbeing Policy
Last updated 6 October 2026. Infinity Rise Education is committed to the safety and wellbeing of every child it works with, and has zero tolerance for child abuse.
This policy applies to Mateo Paolasini Laffargue (owner and Child Safety Officer), every tutor on the platform, and anyone who helps run it. It covers all lessons, messages and contact with students under 18.
How we meet Victoria’s 11 Child Safe Standards
| # | Standard | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Culturally safe for Aboriginal children | We welcome and respect Aboriginal students’ culture and identity, and address racism immediately. |
| 2 | Child safety in leadership and culture | This policy, a named Child Safety Officer, and zero tolerance stated publicly. |
| 3 | Children empowered and listened to | Students are told how to raise a concern and that they will be believed. |
| 4 | Families informed and involved | Parents can see all tutor messages, and this policy is published here. |
| 5 | Equity and diverse needs | Lessons are adjusted for disability, language and learning needs. |
| 6 | Suitable, supported people | Interview, ID, results, references and WWC checks before any lesson. |
| 7 | Child-focused complaints process | Every concern is acknowledged within 24 hours and acted on. |
| 8 | Equipped tutors | Every tutor completes child safety training and agrees to this policy. |
| 9 | Safe online environments | Approved video platforms only, parent-visible messaging, no private contact. |
| 10 | Regular review | This policy is reviewed every 12 months and after any incident. |
| 11 | Documented policies | This policy, our tutor terms and our privacy notice. |
Tutor screening
No tutor teaches until every step is complete: a video interview with child safety questions, photo ID, verified results or qualifications, at least one reference, a current Victorian employee Working with Children clearance linked to Infinity Rise Education, and child safety training.
Online lesson rules
- Lessons run only on approved video platforms, using links shared with the parent.
- Tutors message students only in channels parents can see. No private social media, DMs, personal phone or email.
- No in-person meetings without the parent’s written agreement and our approval.
- No recording without the parent’s written consent.
- Tutors never ask a student to keep a secret from their parents.
Raising a concern
If a child is in immediate danger, call 000. Anyone, including students and parents, can raise a concern with our Child Safety Officer at enquiries@infinityriseeducation.com.au. We acknowledge every concern within 24 hours, report to Victoria Police, Child Protection and regulators where required, and suspend any tutor involved while it is looked into.
