Built by a tutor.
For the way students learn.
Hi, I’m Mateo.
I’m a Melbourne maths tutor with over three years of experience teaching Mathematical Methods, and I study Commerce and Actuarial Science at Monash. I’m building Infinity Rise Education around the things I value in a good lesson: a clear plan, patient explanations and plenty of practice.
We’re starting with online maths tutoring for Victorian students, with a focus on careful matching and personal support.

A few things
you might be wondering.
How much are lessons?
Lessons start from $60 per hour for Years 7–10 and $75 per hour for VCE. Each tutor’s exact rate is shown and confirmed before you book. You pay per lesson, with no packages or contracts.
How do online lessons work?
Your child joins from a laptop or tablet with a stable internet connection, microphone and their school materials. The tutor shares a screen and works through questions live. We’ll send the meeting details before the lesson.
What happens in the first lesson?
The tutor gets to know your child, reviews their current work and asks where they feel stuck. They’ll work through some questions together and use what they learn to plan the next lessons.
How will I know my child is progressing?
Your tutor shares the topics covered, what your child is doing well and what to practise next. Tell us about upcoming assessments or concerns so lessons stay focused on your child’s goals.
Will my child get homework?
When it helps, the tutor suggests a small set of practice questions matched to the lesson and your child’s workload. The next lesson can start by reviewing anything they found difficult.
Can you help with SACs and VCE exams?
Yes. Tutors use the VCAA study design, past exam questions and examiner reports to target the skills your child needs. Share the school’s SAC details where available so preparation matches its format.
What if my child doesn’t click with the tutor?
Tell us. A good working relationship matters, so we’ll talk through what isn’t working and help you find another available tutor. You won’t have to keep booking someone who isn’t the right fit.
What if we need to cancel?
Cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice for a full refund or credit. Late cancellations may be charged up to 50% of the lesson. If your tutor cancels, you choose a new time or a full refund.
Do lessons run in school holidays?
Regular lessons pause over school holidays unless you ask to keep going. Holiday sessions for exam prep are available on request.
